Impress your friends and family
with a thank you note or a Christmas card
written with a calligraphy pen.

This course introduces the beginner and advanced student
to the art of beautiful writing.
Mark will guide you through the basic letters of the italic script.
He encourages the execution of a personal design
and will gladly coach experienced students
along with beginners in the same class.
His writing classes are fun and include:
Demonstrations with different tools,
“Show and Tell” of calligraphic design creations and
the historic background of Western writing.

Materials
All materials can be purchased in class.
(Cost: Between $15 and $20)
If you own calligraphy supplies, bring them along.

Mark Lurz

Is a founding member of the Calligraphic Arts Guild of Toronto.
He has taught calligraphy for over 30 years
and writes historic scripts as well as
contemporary pen and letter styles.
