| Jacobean Trees by Cherryl Moote Trees blowing in the wind before a summer storm inspired the tree on the right which contrasts with a more stoic evergreen tree that stands strong against the push of the wind. The patterning in the trees takes inspiration from traditional diaper patterns used in medieval heraldry. |

| The Jacobean Garden by Cherryl Moote This design was created for the cover of The Tangled Jacobean Garden. A blend of traditional and modern takes on Jacobean motifs which allow for dense stitching, bead-work and embellishment. The original needlework was approximately 24" x 24" and several of the motifs were cut from wool felt and appliquéd onto the background before being stitched and embellished. |
